Dr. Ryan F. Thomas, a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, joined Nashville Oral Surgery in July 2015.
Dr. Thomas and his wife Susan, a pediatric hospitalist, live in Franklin, Tennessee. Dr. Thomas attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and earned a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2007. He then entered dental school at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, graduating as the class valedictorian in 2011. Dr. Thomas continued his training in Memphis as an oral and maxillofacial surgery resident. He completed a four year hospital based program, including five months of anesthesia residency, four months of general surgery residency, and three months of internal medicine residency.
Dr. Thomas is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the American Dental Association.
In his spare time, Dr. Thomas enjoys spending time with his wife and son, enjoying the outdoors, and playing piano.
